  79. Also contained in the Home stack are a set of cards which reset the modem, wait for ringing, answer the phone, and figure out the proper baud rate. Once the connection has been established by these cards, the Hyper House stack is opened.

However, a timer is always running, via methods in the Home stack script, and invoked by the Idle message. This timer ensures that if the user is idle for too long, he'll be automatically logged off. Logoff is accomplished by going to the modem reset card. This time-out also handles the case of a caller hanging up without logging off.
